Hiring and Support Costs May Be Covered

Employers may be able to save on costs associated with hiring candidates such as background checks, drug testing, and work cards. Assistive technology and supportive equipment can also be provided for disabled candidates who need them.

Our candidates are pre-screened and qualified. We would not recommend anyone that we didn’t feel is capable of the job. In fact, we are not permitted to help them obtain a position that is not suited for them and as agreed upon with a State appointed Vocational Counselor.

Financial Incentives

Many employers are unaware that there are State programs available to assist employers with training costs or provide free labor.

Employers can receive tax credits equal to 25% or 40% of new employee’s first-year wages, up to the maximum for the target group to which the employee belongs.

OJT - On the Job Training Program

NV Vocational Rehabilitation

The OJT program provides the opportunity for a portion of a candidate's training wages to be paid by the State of NV in the form of a reimbursement. This program is offered on a case-by-case basis. CWE - Community Work Experience or
CBA - Community Based Assessment

NV Vocational Rehabilitation

CWE and CBA work programs offer employers the ability to obtain free labor while at the same time, providing individuals with disabilities the opportunity to obtain real work experience. Wages and WC insurance is covered by the State of NV. Our CWE program provides an on-site Trainer for the duration of the program while our CBA program may provide a temporary Job Coach to assist with the training period of the program.

Silver State Works - Incentive Based Employment Program

Nevada Job Connect

This program supports employers who hire and retain eligible individuals in full-time employment by providing a wage and training subsidy payable in four equal increments of up to $500 after each 30 days of successful employment, up to 120 days.
